Membership Benefits
Your commitment to supporting the farm for the entire growing season allows us to concentrate on our mission to provide our community with high quality food while sustaining and improving the surrounding ecosystem. It also allows us to remain viable even if we are challenged with the unavoidable risks associated with farming such as severe weather events or uncontrollable pests.
In exchange for your financial support, you can expect to receive a generous share of the season’s finest produce for the number of weeks that the particular season runs.
Your support also helps provide families in need with healthy, fresh, delicious produce through donation to local food-sharing organization and our partnership with the Monadnock Farm Share Program.
Payment Plans
We offer flexible payment methods and schedules. However, if you sign up for a season, we require payment for the entire season. If you don’t see a payment plan or method that is comfortable for you, please let us know so that we can discuss options.
Reducing Waste
In an effort to reduce waste and environmental impact, we provide handmade Hungry Bear Farm bags from repurposed materials at the start of the season. Please bring a bag or other container with you each time you come to pick up your share as we do not typically have extra bags at the field.
Pickup Options:
Market-Style Field Pickup: Mason, NH
Our market-style field pickup affords you the most flexibility and an opportunity to visit a working farm. In addition to the week’s designated items, members also choose from a wide selection of “choice items” . We usually also offer fresh-cut herbs at the field on pickup day. Please visit our “What’s New” page to explore what we typically have for our CSA members each week during the season.
In order to make our Tuesday pickup days at the field convenient for everyone, we offer a wide 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM pickup window. Selection usually takes our members about 15 minutes, if you pick up your share at the field, please allow enough time to finish choosing your items by 6:00 PM.
If you are not able to collect your share on pickup day, we encourage you to ask a friend or neighbor to collect your share for you. If you do this, please let us know so that we know whom to expect.
Shares not claimed at the end of each designated pick-up day will be considered available for donation. If you know that you are going to be later than 6 PM, just text me at 978 935-1797 so that we can leave your share out for you after we leave for the evening.
